Motorist Wins £200 Good Garage Scheme Prize

Good Garage Scheme winners find it hard to believe that they have won money back on a car service or repair for simply filling in a feedback card, but that's exactly what happened to Mr Fitzsimons recently at Saunders Abbott garage at Sidcup, Kent.

Mr Fitzsimons' feedback was chosen from over 9000 entries in the Good Garage Scheme's national prize draw.

He awarded the garage with five stars for the service received and commented:
"Your garage fixed a reoccurring fault on our previous Fabia. Other local Skoda agents where not even able to diagnose a problem and twice charge me £27.00 to report "no fault found". I will not use them again as they could not fix a problem I had described in detail. You fixed it easily first time!"

The Good Garage Scheme has awarded three lucky motorists with this prize so far this year with one more prize draw before Christmas.

Congratulations to Ajay Gokani and his team at Good Garage Scheme member garage Empire Garage in Enfield for winning this year's FSB London Business Award for Enterprising Business.

The garage is a family business with a strong reputation, comprising a 24-hour forecourt and shop and a 4 bay workshop which has received over 3770 customer reviews on the Good Garage Scheme website with a 97% star rating.

On the awards night of 31st July, Steve Warwick, the London Regional Chair of the FSB, said, "Convincing a panel of independent business judges that you are the best in London is no mean feat. I hope that winning here tonight will be a stepping stone for growing businesses."

Three Time Winners on Way to 5000 Feedbacks

The Good Garage Scheme would like to congratulate member garage Lockwood & Greenwood in Ashton-under-Lyne for once again winning the national prize for top number of feedback received in a year.

The team at Lockwood & Greenwood celebrate highest number of feedback in 2014.

The garage received over 900 customer feedbacks in 2014 with a phenomenal star rating of over 98% with over 99% of their customers ready to recommend them to a friend or use them again. Lockwood & Greenwood have also picked up the regional prize for Top Feedback in 2014 as well.

Bryan Langton who runs the service reception ensures every customer receives a feedback card and lets them know how important their response is to the garage's membership of the Good Garage Scheme. He also ensures they receive a thank you in the post for using the garage for the service, repair or MOT. The email addresses collected with the feedback helps the garage remind their customers when the MOT or service is due on the vehicle.

Lockwood & Greenwood are currently on 4820 feedbacks and well on the way to reaching the next milestone of 5000, which will make them the second Good Garage Scheme member to do so. We look forward to celebrating later this year.
